Maria Filippa (nee Casciano) CASCIOLI

Maria Filippa Cascioli (nee Casciano) passed away peacefully at Idlewyld Manor in Hamilton on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the age of 94. She is reunited in Heaven with her loving husband of 70 years, Francesco Cascioli, her parents, Leonardo and Grazia Casciano, and her daughter-in-law of the late Leonardo and late Fiorentina Cascioli. Maria was the loving mother to Fiorella Cifani (Emilio), Grace Bruno (Sam), and Anna Cerino (late Joe). She was a cherished Nonna to Grace (Oscar), Philip, Anthony (Genna), Alexander (Rosy), Samantha (Lucas), Danny (Stephanie), Frankie (Melissa), and Alyssa, and a Bis Nonna to Aria, Adrien, Luca, Leo, Marcello, Matteo, and Mara. Maria was a dear sister and sister-in-law to the late Elisa and the late Francesco LeDonne, the late Antoinetta and the late Francesco Finelli, the late Nick and Elizabeth Casciano, and Maria and the late Domenic Ronca. She will also be sadly missed by her extended family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Maria Filippa was born in Roseto Valfortore, Puglia, Italy on June 1, 1931, and came to Canada over 60 years ago. A private family gathering will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, located at 947 Rymal Road East, in Hamilton. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks for all the love and support during this difficult time.
