Margaret (Mekker) Tanner

Margaret (Mekker) Tanner of Hamilton, Ontario, born on May 5, 1933, passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husbands, Alexander Mekker and Darcy Tanner, as well as her parents, Dan and Barbara. Margaret is survived by her children, Daniel Mekker (Carol Ann), Nancy Jones (Tracy), Marian Wiskar (Peter), and David; her grandchildren, Michael (Nikki), Trevor (Carmelle), Connor (Sydney), Amanda-Sapphire, Michelle (Alex), and Jessica (Billy); and her brother Bill (Donna). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 260 Herkimer St, Hamilton, ON L8P2H9. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
