Marc Stuart HATHAWAY

Marc Stuart Hathaway passed away at home on June 17, 2026, in his 72nd year. He was the beloved husband of Shirley for 46 wonderful years. Marc was a cherished stepfather of Todd and a loving 'Grumpy' to many who brought great joy to his life. He is survived by his siblings Cory (Sue), Dane (Karen), Michele (Mike), Lisa (Howard), and predeceased by his sister Wendy (Ken). Marc is also survived by his brother-in-law Greg and predeceased by his brother-in-law Ron. He will be deeply missed by his longtime friend, Bob McKnight. Marc enjoyed listening to classic rock, cheering on his beloved Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays, and spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will take place thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marc's memory may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program.
