Lucienne "Lucy" Joseph (née Lapierre)

Lucienne 'Lucy' Joseph, née Lapierre, passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by her family. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Alexandre Joseph. Lucy was the loving mother of Joanne Charlebois and her husband Yvon, Jacques Joseph, Gilles Joseph, Monique Lapointe and her husband Marc, and Lynne Gallant and her husband Larry. She was the cherished Memère of Natalie Charette and her husband Denis, Paul Charlebois and his wife Monika, Julie Dunn and her husband Jason, Jean-Paul Joseph, Vanessa Cashmore, Kevin Cashmore and his wife Kristen, Chantalle McInnes and her husband Jamie, and Tiffany Kavelman and her husband Shawn, as well as eighteen great-grandchildren. Lucy was the daughter of the late Adelard and Emilda Lapierre and was predeceased by her siblings, Hélène, Dorianne, Irene, Anita, Denise, Denis, Maurice, and Guy, as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law, Eva, André, Célestin, Noëlla, Thérèse, Fernande, Jeannine, and Maurice. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Extendicare Hamilton for their exceptional care and to Dr. Ahrens and Michelle for their dedication. A Memorial Visitation will be held on July 9, 2026, at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service.
