Lucia Presutti

Lucia Presutti (nee Giovannitti) passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in her 94th year. She was the loving wife of the late Valterno Presutti. They were married on February 13, 1955, and celebrated 63 years together until Valterno's passing in 2018. Lucia was a devoted mother to Carmine (Sally) and Paolo (Marilyn). She was predeceased by her parents Carmine and Giovanna Giovannitti (nee Della Valle) and sisters Emilietta (Domenico) Dalle Valle and Maria (Egidio) Golini. Lucia will be missed by her many friends and family members in Italy and Canada. The family would like to thank Dr. Roland Di Gregorio, her longtime family doctor, Nelsa Rebucal, and Imelda Barrientos, who helped care for Lucia. A special mention goes to the PSW team at the Thrive Group. Thanks also to Tony and Lucy DiLoreto and their family, whose visits always brightened her days. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., Hamilton, on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held.
