Louis Serafini Sr.
Louis Serafini Sr. of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on April 14, 1941, he is remembered by all who knew him. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Leandro Serafini, and his brother, Tony Serafini. He is survived by his wife, Rosita; his children, Louis Jr. (Jennifer Honey), Sandra (Daryl Hochman), and Lora (Gord Valin); his grandchildren, Kira, Kendra, and Camryn; and his sister, Adrian Figliotti (Peter). Visitation took place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and continued on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel, located at 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, located at 620 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W1B3. An entombment followed on the same day from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Tombeau Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, located at 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Louis Serafini Sr. to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
