Linda Lord (Lin)

Linda Jean Lord, a devoted wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 21, 2026, at the age of 75, following a lengthy battle with dementia. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, David, and their children, Andy, Robin, and Sam, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Avy and Aera. Linda is also survived by her siblings, David, Bill, and Jan. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to helping others through nursing, children's aid, and counseling. Linda was a dedicated volunteer, notably with Good Shepherd Centres in Hamilton, and was passionate about her community. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Good Shepherd.
