Kyle Otaguro

Kyle Otaguro passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 37. He is now reunited with his grandfather Storm Otaguro, who predeceased him in 2001, as well as Ed Mills, who passed away in 2013, Pam Spangenberger, who died in 2018, and Marj Mills, who predeceased him in 2023. Kyle will be deeply missed by his parents, Judy and Darrell Otaguro, and his family, including Bachan Kay Otaguro, Stan and Kathy Otaguro, Jacqueline and Erica, Harry Spangenberger, Colleen and Gary Houle, Mike and Sarah, Nicole, Bev and Dan Castellani, Brayden, Ted and Pam Mills, Adam and Tracey, Matt and Lauren, and Chelsea and Mike Wilson. Kyle grew up on Stoney Creek Mountain, attending Mt. Albion Public School and Saltfleet High School, where he formed many lifelong friendships through his involvement in school and sports, including his time playing with Stoney Creek Minor Hockey. A visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Hamilton on Sunday, August 16th. A private funeral will follow.
