Kanella Giannopoulos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kanella Giannopoulos, who departed this life on September 17, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on May 28, 1945, in Hamilton, Ontario, Kanella was a beloved wife to Andreas Giannopoulos and a devoted mother to her son, Angelo (Denise). She is survived by her siblings Aleka, Basilis, Elrini, Nikos, and Kiki, as well as her sisters-in-law Nikoleta and Angeliki, and brother-in-law Takis. Kanella was cherished by her nieces and nephews, including Chris (Kellie), Demetrios (Ruth), Sophia, and Anna, along with her extended family and many friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the L. G. Wallace Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at the Panagia Greek Orthodox Church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and a burial at Mount Hamilton Cemetery from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
