John Gilbert Varley of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his wife Beverly Kay, his parents John and Lily, and his sisters Edna, Myrtle, and Lillian. John Gilbert is survived by his children, Sandra Willey (Dan), Tracey Broyles (Tom), and Al Varley (Jenn), along with his grandchildren Chris, Zack, Iain, Tyler, and Ryan. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Wentworth Lodge Room at Bell Tower Place, located at 1 King St W, Hamilton, ON L8P1A1. Flowers are welcome in memory of John Gilbert.
