Jean Elizabeth Coward (Betty)

Jean Elizabeth Coward, known to many as Betty, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at the age of 87. She will be deeply missed by her sister Judy, sons Ken and Michael, grandchildren Aidan, Kieran, Gavin, and Sienna, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband Bob, parents Jimmy and Jean Burrows, brother Bob, and son Kevin. Born in Hamilton, Betty spent many years working at Sears in the Foundations and Customer Services departments. Her life was marked by a large and diverse circle of friends. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family extends their gratitude to the palliative care staff at Saint Peter's Hospital in Hamilton for their compassionate care during Betty's final days.
