Italo GALLACE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Italo Gallace on June 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Born in Fabrizia, Italy, Italo immigrated to Hamilton with his family in 1961, where he built a life characterized by hard work and devotion to his loved ones. He established a successful career in real estate, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike through his dedication and integrity. Italo was the beloved husband of Doris for nearly 50 years and cherished father of the late Jason Gallace and Tina Girard (Kevin). He was a proud grandfather to Leo, Vinny, and Alina. Italo was the son of the late Angelo and Santina Gallace and dear brother to Helen, Burnella, and Mary, predeceased by brothers Joseph and Nazareno. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at Dodsworth & Brown Ancaster Chapel on Tuesday, June 23, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., with a funeral service on Wednesday, June 24, at 12:00 noon in the chapel. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to Juravinski Hospital are appreciated.
