Steve Fényes (István) passed away on February 20, 2026, in his 87th year. Born on June 1, 1939, in Monor, Hungary, he is survived by his wife Anna of 45 years, his stepchildren Lisa, Les (Jen), and Ed (Evelyn), his grandchildren Michael (Megan), Dan (Sarah), Jackie (Jesse), András, Tamás and great-grandchildren Delilah, Harrison, Lachlan, Beckett, Tyler, Lou and Nico. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 7-9 p.m. at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth), Hamilton. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to John Calvin Hungarian Presbyterian Church.
