Irene FERREIRA

Irene Ferreira passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Hamilton, at the age of 89. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Jose Ferreira. Irene will be dearly missed by her children Jose Manuel, predeceased by his wife Maria, Luis Carlos and his wife Filomena, and Ermelinda and her husband Aurelio. She was a cherished Vavo of Joey and his wife Sandy, Stanley and his wife Tobey, Nelia and her husband Gabriel, Leslie and her husband Jimmy, Nelson and his wife Meera, and Eric and his wife Nicole. Irene was also an adoring great-grandmother of Alyssa, Dontae, Mason, Shyloh, Noah, Justyn, Ethan, Avelina, Zoey, and Zachary. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents Irene and Mariano, as well as with her sisters Idalina and Maria de Estrela, and their spouses, in addition to her brother Serafino. Irene will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, located at 43 Barton St. E., on Tuesday, April 14th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Burlington.
