Ilda (nee Simoes) FERREIRA

Ilda Ferreira, nee Simoes, passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late Joao Ferreira, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Ilda is survived by her children, Carlos and Brenda, Mario and Patsy, John, and Shelly. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dylan and his wife Rosemary, Alyssa, Beau, Amelia, and predeceased by her grandson Jon. Ilda will be deeply missed by her family and friends in Portugal, the U.S.A., and Canada. The family is grateful for the care and support provided during her final days. Ilda will be resting at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, with visitation on Monday, July 20, 2026. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
