Hubert (Bert) Alexander Fullarton

Hubert (Bert) Alexander Fullarton passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 89. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Fullarton, Karen (Kevin) Watson, and Brenda Russell; grandchildren, Jocelyn McIntosh (Scott), Tyler (Alex) Harkness, Laura Harkness; and great-grandchildren, Hudson, Levi, and Sophia Harkness, and Harrison McIntosh. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (2020), brother, Gord (Joyce), and sister, Sadie. Bert's brother, Jack (Helen), and many nieces and nephews in California, as well as his 'Crawford cousins by the dozens,' will fondly remember him. Bert was a machine shop teacher with the Hamilton Secondary School Board and Vice Principal at Mount Albion Vocational School. He was a member of the Hamilton Men Teachers Choir for 50 years and a church organist at Fairfield United Church and Barton Stone United Church. Please join us for visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Friday, February 27th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Service will be held at Emmanuel United Church, 871 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton, on Saturday, February 28th. Family will receive worshipers from 10:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Refreshments will follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Emmanuel United Church for maintaining the memorial garden created by his wife, Irene.
