Harold Cooper of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 97. He was predeceased by his brother Donald, whose spouse was Florence. He is survived by his wife Mary; his children Kelly Herd, married to Cal, and Tom Cooper, married to Sue; his grandchildren Lindsey Herd, Mike Iley, Jason Herd (married to Anca), Brent Herd, Adam Herd, Ryan Herd, Jeffrey Cooper (married to Destinee Taylor), Chris Cooper (married to Chelsea) and Renae Cooper; his brother Ken, married to Beverly; and nine great‑grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel, 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W 3M2. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the same location, with a reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
