Gloria Lucia "Lita" (née Manrique) DAILY
Gloria Lucia "Lita" Daily (née Manrique) passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Peter Daily, and their children, Natalie Daily (Norm) and Charles Daily (Lisa). Gloria was a cherished grandmother to Owen, Jacob, Javier, and Frankie. For over 32 years, she dedicated her career to caring for patients at McMaster ICU. Gloria enjoyed a variety of activities, including golf, dancing, quilting, skiing, and traveling, always valuing time spent with family and friends. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre and the caregivers from St. Joseph's Nursing and St. Elizabeth's Home Care. Visitation will be held on September 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a service at St. Catherine of Sienna on September 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at Garth Trails Clubhouse at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hamilton Health Sciences at the Juravinski Cancer Centre are appreciated.
