Giuseppina "Josie" CASSANO

Giuseppina "Josie" Cassano passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 64. Born in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy, Josie was a proud Canadian who cherished her heritage. She had a passion for reading and enjoyed traveling, having explored Canada, Australia, and her native Italy. Josie is survived by her mother, Maria, and her brother, John (Josie), along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada and Italy. She was predeceased by her father, Salvatore, and several uncles in Canada and Italy. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Juravinski and St. Peter's Hospital for their compassionate care. In accordance with Josie's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside memorial at Resurrection Cemetery will be announced later. Online condolences may be made at www.baygardens.ca.
