Giuseppina Cerminara
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Giuseppina Cerminara of Hamilton, Ontario, who departed this life on October 9, 2026, at the age of 95. Giuseppina was born on April 7, 1931. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlo. Giuseppina is survived by her children: Gabriel, Sara Mattachini (Bob), Joe, Lily Clairmont, Rita Panetta (Domenic), Mario (Anna), Frank, and Carla Ruggiero (Tony). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Christopher (Sofia), Stephen Mattachini, Deanna Wilder (Jeff), Carlo, Erica Cerminara, Stephanie Portz (Stuart), Matthew Clairmont, Christine Bell (Ronnie), Nicholas Panetta (Maya), Marcel (Julia), Sabrina (Daniel), Loren Cerminara, Michael, Alicia, and Marcus Ruggiero. Additionally, she is survived by Nicoletta, Fausto Isabella, Felicia, Pietro Mercuri, Concetta, Giovanni Gennaccaro, Michela, and Antonio Gennaccaro, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel Ltd., located at 43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, situated at 440 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8N1C6. Following the Mass, a burial was conducted at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, located at 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1. The family welcomes flowers and condolences in memory of Giuseppina.
