Giuseppe "Joe" MUNISTERI

Giuseppe 'Joe' Munisteri passed away on April 26, 2026, in his 86th year. He was the cherished husband of 54 years to Barbara Munisteri (nee Brown). Beloved son of Antonia and the late Calogero Munisteri, and son-in-law of the late Carrie Morreale Brown. He was a loving brother to the late Leo and Vincenza Munisteri, Angela and the late Joe Alfano, and Connie and David Morganti, and a dear brother-in-law to the late Brenda and Louis Richard, the late Sam Brown, and Jennifer Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joe was a devoted member of the Chedoke Bocce Club, serving as president for 10 years, and enjoyed working in his garden. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 -9 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 1, at 10 a.m. at Regina Mundi Parish, 631 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton, followed by entombment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
