Giulia "Julie" (née Mattioli) DI LORETO

Giulia "Julie" Di Loreto (née Mattioli) passed away on August 31, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Franco Di Loreto. Giulia is survived by her cherished son Joseph and his wife Maryann, as well as her sister-in-law Theresa Di Loreto (Tony) and Luciano (Janet) Di Loreto. She was also predeceased by her brothers Sunny (Sylvia) Mattioli and Tony Mattioli. Giulia leaves behind her sister Mary McLaren and the late Ernie, Gina, and John Licandro. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, including Anita and Gary, Kelli, Antonio and Felicia, Francesca and Eric, Anna and Umberto, and Peter and Victoria, along with many cousins in Canada, the USA, and Italy. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on September 3, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with Vigil Prayers at 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Eugene's Church on September 4, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter's Hospital for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations to a favorite charity are appreciated. A private interment will occur at a later date at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
