Giovanna Soliveri

Giovanna Soliveri of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on March 27, 1936, she was a beloved member of her family, friends, and community. Giovanna was predeceased by her parents, Calogero Campanella and Vincenza Campanella, as well as her siblings, Vincenzo Campanella (late Lilla), Salvatore Campanella (Lena), and Maria Butera (late Lorenzo). She is survived by her children, Anna D'Amico (Paul), Aurelio Soliveri, Sergio Soliveri (Mary), and Cinzia Francella; her grandchildren, Anthony (Alexandra), Giulia (Sergio), Matthew (Giulia), Marco (Monica), Vincent (Lee), Victoria (Nicholas), and Luca; and her siblings, Nino Campanella (Antonietta), Nicola Campanella (Carmela), Connie Paladino (Vince), and Joe Campanella (Terri). Additionally, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, located at 43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7. A prayer service will be held at the same location on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM. A funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at All Souls Church, located at 21 Barton St W, Hamilton, ON L8L1A2.
