Gilbert William Green

Gilbert William Green passed away in Hamilton, Ontario on October 11, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on October 11, 1941, he lived a full life surrounded by family, friends, and community. Gilbert was predeceased by his parents, Alfred Green and Margaret Green; his wife Isabel; and his siblings, Jack and Ruth. He is survived by his children, James (Sue), Ruth, and Donald (Megan); his grandchildren, Sian (Wes), Regan, Shannen, Thomas (Caileigh), Ryan, Will, and Emmet; and his great-grandchildren, Isla, Hudson, Winnie, and Sloane. Visitation took place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marlatt Funeral Home, located at 195 King St W, Dundas, ON L9H1V5. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Emmanuel House Hospice, through the Good Shepherd Centres.
