Gerald "Jerry" Stephan

Gerald 'Jerry' Stephan peacefully passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of Mary for over 59 years. Gerald was also a loving father of Derek. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew Stephan; his mother, Esther Stephan; his sister, Isabel; his brother-in-law, Andrew Masrobian; his brother, Vernon; and his sister-in-law, Dorothy; as well as his parents-in-law, Mike and Marianna Fazio. Gerald is also survived by his dear brother-in-law, John Fazio, who was predeceased by his wife, Marylynn. He will be fondly remembered by his coffee and lunch buddies, Danny, Russ, Peter, and Raymond, who predeceased by Larry and Albert. Gerald will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was a retired employee of Stelco Inc. for over 33 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud Street East, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to the War Amps or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
