Gerald "Jerry" FERRO

With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Gerald "Jerry" Ferro on August 26, 2026, at the age of 68. He was the beloved son of the late Giuseppe and Maria Ferro and a cherished brother to Clara Malito, Marg Ferro, Linda and George Castelli, and Anthony Ferro. Jerry was a devoted uncle to Daniela, Ryan, Jane, Adam, and Danya Castelli, and a great-uncle to Fia, Hayden, Simon, and Clare. He was also a treasured nephew, cousin, and friend to many, including Jenny and Ophelia. Despite facing numerous physical challenges, Jerry approached life with positivity and humor. He had a passion for vintage music, sports, and the Hamilton Tiger Cats, and enjoyed participating in bocce games at the Special Olympics, camping, and socializing with friends. Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Friday, September 4th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Inurnment will occur at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery in Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to the March of Dimes or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
