George Douglas Wilson

George Douglas Wilson passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 76, following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Anita Wilson, son Daryl Wilson, daughter-in-law Shellie Wilson, and granddaughter Alexis Wilson. George is also survived by his sisters Joanne Weeks and Janet Russello, as well as many nieces and nephews. Born to Ross and Mabel Wilson, George developed a strong work ethic and earned a degree in Civil Engineering from McMaster University. He had a distinguished career with Horton CBI, spanning over four decades, and was an enthusiastic sportsman who enjoyed golf, baseball, hockey, and particularly curling. George will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humour, and the countless happy memories he created with family and friends.
