Gaspare CINO

Gaspare Cino passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Racalmuto, Sicily, he immigrated to Canada in 1953. He met the love of his life, Carmela (Melina) Cino, with whom he shared a 69-year marriage. A devoted husband and proud father of three, his family was his life and greatest joy. He is survived by his children, Chuck (Patricia), Linda (Filippo) Liota, and John (Katie). He was a loving and attentive grandfather to his seven grandchildren, Daniel (Dayna), Alyssa, Nicholas (Vienna), Cristina (Dan), Lucas, Joseph, and Sophia, and great-grandfather to Delilah. He was predeceased by his sister, Maria (Salvatore) Campenella, brother, Salvatore (Carmelina) Cino, sisters-in-law, Suor Calogera Vitello, Maria (Geralamo) Sferrazza-Papa, and brother-in-law, Carmelo (Eugenia) Vitello. Gaspare was employed by the Hamilton Baking Company for 21 years and also worked for the City of Hamilton in maintenance. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many caring nephews and nieces at home and in Italy, Belgium, and England.
