Franjo Vucina

Franjo Vucina, a resident of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on December 1, 1936. Franjo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara, as well as his parents, Nikola and Barbara Vučina, and his in-laws, Jura and Barica Paljug. He is survived by his sons, Frank and Jeremy, and his grandchildren, Zev, Lola, Kassie, Darla, and Tristan. Franjo also leaves behind his siblings, Slavica Kralj (Stjepan), Tomo Vučina (Mirjana), and Alojzija Vučina, along with numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church, followed by burial at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery.
