Elsie WALTERS

Elsie Walters passed away peacefully at Macassa Lodge Nursing Home on April 24, 2026, at the age of 100. She was born to Edward and Olive Plevin in Silver Lake, ON, and grew up in Hamilton, where she lived her entire life. Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband Norman in 2006, her daughter Janice in 2022, her son Bruce in 2024, and her great-granddaughter Audrey in 2007. She is survived by her son-in-law Ernest, daughter-in-law Mary, granddaughters Sherry (Michael) and Amy (Jamie), and great-grandchildren Max, Ty, Layla Elsie, and Chase. A Celebration of Life will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, located at 796 Upper Gage Ave in Hamilton, on Saturday, May 30, from 1-3 p.m.
