Doreen Cowan passed away peacefully in Hamilton, Ontario, on May 17, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 14, 1935, she was the beloved wife of the late John Cowan, whom she married in 1959 and who predeceased her in 1992. Doreen was a devoted mother to John, Joe, Scott, Donald, and Donna, and a cherished sister to Margaret. She had a lifelong love of country music and enjoyed attending theatre productions and the symphony. A visitation will be held at L.G. Wallace Funeral Home on May 21, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., followed by a burial service at Woodland Cemetery on May 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
