Donald Gordon Gill

Donald Gordon Gill passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Mavis for 63 wonderful years, a devoted and proud father to Wendy Burley, and a cherished grandfather to Zachary and Kyle, who brought him great joy. Donald is reunited with his parents, Gordon and Margaret; and his brother, Wayne. He spent many dedicated years working at Dofasco, where he built lasting friendships and took great pride in his work. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Hamilton General Hospital (8 South), St. Peter's Hospital, and Dr. Sarah Kinzie for their care and kindness. In keeping with Donald's wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
