Donald Gordon Gill

Donald Gordon Gill passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, at the age of 85, at St. Peter's Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mavis, and their daughter Wendy Burley, as well as his cherished grandchildren Zachary and Kyle. Don was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Margaret, and his brother Wayne. A devoted husband and father, Don spent many years working at Dofasco, building lasting friendships and taking great pride in his work. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Hamilton General Hospital and St. Peter's Hospital, as well as Dr. Sarah Kinzie, for their care and kindness. Following cremation, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, as per Don's wishes.
