David SMITTEN

David Smitten passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, and children, Robert Borycki and Sarah Borycki (Patrick Lawler). He was the proud Grandpa Dave of Audrina and Avery Borycki. Dear brother of Donna Papanicolou (Dennis) and Nancy Shaw. Loved uncle of Euri Papanicolou (Sarah Farrell, Emmett), Elishia Papanicolou, Nicole and Christopher Shaw. Caring brother-in-law of Michael Malles and his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Alice Smitten. David will also be lovingly remembered by many other family and friends, including his dog Willow. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Thursday, July 2nd from 1 - 2 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Cresmount Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
