Damjan Gligic

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Damjan Gligic, who departed this life on October 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on March 13, 1939, in Hamilton, Ontario, Damjan is predeceased by his parents, Damjan and Cvijeta, as well as his siblings, Milja, Rade, and Milka. He is survived by his beloved wife, Milka, and their sons, Zdravko (Svetlana), Slavko (Maggie), and Uros (Annie). Damjan was a proud grandfather to Ana (Aleksandar), Michael (Natasha), Maria, David, Adriana, Victoria (Ryan), Petar, Christopher, Lana, Rosie, Charlotte, and Sadie. He also leaves behind his pet, Decker, and extended family members Zdravko Gligich and Drago Trkulja. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery.
