Chiara Probo

It is with sadness that the passing of Chiara Probo is announced. Chiara, a resident of Hamilton, Ontario, was born on January 11, 1935, and passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 91. She was loved by her husband, Marcello; her son, Leo (Franca); her grandsons, Daniel and Cristian; and her siblings, Virginia, Giuseppe, Lino, Brigitta, and Valentino. Visitation took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, located at 1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Blessed Lord Parish, situated at 400 Pottruff Rd N, Hamilton, ON L8H 2M4. Following the Mass, an entombment occurred on the same day from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery, located at 681 Mud St E, Hamilton, ON L8J 3B8. Donations in Chiara's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
