Beatrix Volcansek

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beatrix Volcansek of Hamilton, Ontario, who left us on August 29, 2026, at the age of 20. Beatrix was dearly loved by her sister Illyria, her parents Anton and Julie, and her grandparents Milena Volcansek, Billie Johnston, Bill Johnston, and Karl Volcansek. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Beth (Al), Greg, Mark (Julija), Alana, Taylor, Jacob, and Emmett, as well as her close friends Annette, Rachel, Lora, Grace, Chiara, Morgan, and Skylar. A celebration of her life will take place on September 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, located at 1174 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8M1E9. In her memory, donations may be made to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada.
