Basile Dimas

Basile Dimas of Hamilton, Ontario, was born on August 20, 1933, and passed away on October 12, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Konstadinos and Marietta, and his siblings, Sophia, Tasia, Hristos, Argiris, Nikos, Jim, and John. He is survived by his wife, Georgina; his children, Dino (Michelle) and Mary (Mark); his grandchildren, Billy, Christopher (Ashley), Stephanie, David (Tammy), and Geena (Cole); and his brother, Tom (Helen). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Visitation took place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith's Funeral Home - Brant Street, located at 485 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7R2G5. A prayer service was held at the same location on October 18, 2026, at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was conducted on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, located at 22 Head St, Hamilton, ON L8R1P9.
