Assunta ARCARI passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 99. Loving mother of Carmine (predeceased by Maria), Nicola (Janet), Antonio (Giacomina), Vittorio (Anna), and Luigino (Antoinette). Proud nonna of Gianluca (Mymi), Peter, Lisa (late Jason), Cassandra (Kyle), Kristen (Eoin), Melissa (Joshua), Assunta (Nader), John (Jennifer), Patricia, Stephanie, Mathew, Andrew (Cayleigh), Daniel (Alysha), Dean (Natasha), and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Hamilton, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Bibic and the staff at St. Peter's Hospital.
