Anna MISINSKI

Anna peacefully entered eternal life on June 24, 2026, in her 96th year, at the Hamilton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Jozef (2004). Anna is survived by her loving children, Kazimierz (Anna-Marie - predeceased), Gregory (Krystyna), and Jadwiga (Jo-Ann) and husband Dan Sykula. She is also survived by her devoted grandchildren, Andrew, Mark, Eva, Jonas (Caroline), Jessica (Jason), and Eric, and her cherished great-grandchildren, Gavin and Mila. Anna is further survived by her sister, Veronika Zybura (Karol - predeceased), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Anna immigrated to Canada in 1965 from Poland with her husband and three children. Her life was defined by her devotion to her Catholic faith. She loved nothing better than bringing everyone together to enjoy her home-cooked meals and tending to her garden. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff on 5 West for their kind, compassionate care and support. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, from 5-9 p.m. with Rosary at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church on Tuesday, June 30, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a food bank or charity of your choice.
