Anna (Annina) FLAMMINI
Anna Flammini passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 95, surrounded by her family at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Born on December 3, 1930, in Castelbasso, Abruzzo, Italy, to Felice and Fioralba Rocci, Anna grew up with a passion for cooking and meticulous attention to detail. After moving to Canada, she worked various jobs, including housekeeping at St. Joe's Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and kindness. In 1956, Anna married Ercole Flammini, and together they built a loving home, raised their daughter Pia, and enjoyed vacations in Cuba and visits to family in Italy. Anna is survived by her daughter Pia and her husband Alfonse Zaccaria, grandchildren Andrea and Amanda, and great-grandchildren Avery, Kai, Leo, and Giuliana. She was predeceased by her siblings Franco, Cesare, Amalia, and Giuseppe Rocci, and several siblings-in-law. Anna will be remembered for her loving and friendly nature, her cooking, and her enjoyment of playing cards and socializing with friends. She spent her last three years at the Chartwell Waterford Retirement Residence, where she made many friends and participated in daily activities.
