Angela Marchionda

Angela Marchionda passed away peacefully after a long illness at St. Joseph's Juravinski Innovation Tower on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the age of 56. She was the youngest daughter of the late Salvatore and Giovanna Marchionda, and was predeceased by her beloved sister, Rita Marchionda. Angela will be lovingly remembered by her devoted siblings Chris Marchionda, Luisa Smith, and Anna Marchionda. She was a cherished aunt of Chiara Rose Nardi and adored great-aunt to Massimo Nardi. Dennis James Smith remained a caring and supportive presence in Angela's life. She is also lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members in Canada, the United States, and Italy. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the medical team at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, Charlton Campus. Family and friends will be received at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Cremation has taken place.
