Alfonso Antonio Burgio

Alfonso Antonio Burgio, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on May 13, 1945. Alfonso is survived by his beloved wife, Josie (Sardo), and their sons, Manny (Cassandra) and Sonny (Gianna). He was a proud grandfather to Gabriella (Jordan), Antonio Gianpaolo (Anna), and Alexa (Adrian), and a great-grandfather to Isaiah and Dakota. He is also survived by his parents, Emanuele and Alfonsa, his in-laws Salvatore and Ninetta Sardo, and his siblings Santina (Joe), Joe (Connie), Carm (Mary), and John (Sue). Alfonso will be missed by his brothers-in-law Ray (Maria) and Joe (Nancy), along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Visitation will take place on September 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on September 29, 2026, at Our Lady of Assumption. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bob Kemp Hospice and Keaton's House would be appreciated.
