Alastair MacRury

The family of Alastair MacRury announces his passing on September 19, 2026, in Hamilton, Ontario. Alastair is survived by his parents, Elizabeth and Rev. Ian MacRury; his children, Kiara and Brendan; his sister, Marita MacRury Easton; and his grandchildren, Natalie Elizabeth Madill and Vanessa Sylvia Madill. He is also remembered by his ex-partner and the mother of his children, Jan Freeman (Tom Waram), along with many cousins, family, and friends. A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Turner Family Funeral Home, located at 53 Main St, Dundas, ON L9H2P7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fighting Blindness Canada or a charity of choice. Alastair's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
