Adriana Vetrone

Adriana Vetrone, born on April 14, 1928, passed away on October 7, 2026. She is survived by her children, Nick, Fay, Rosemary Jaskula, Joe, and Brenda; her grandchildren, Paul (Kelly), Nicholas, Laura, Jacob, Rachel (Lawson), and Michael; her sister Evelina Gambioli; and her brother-in-law Anthony (Nella Vetrone). Adriana was predeceased by her husband Giuseppe Vetrone; her parents, Fabrizio Giacomelli and Maria Giacomelli; and her siblings, Primo, Cecilia, Flora, Arturo, Uliana, Romualdo, and Vanda. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, located at 1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 128 Edgemont St S, Hamilton, ON L8K2H8. An entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
