William was raised on a farm by Robert and Eleanor Diwell and shared his childhood with friends Harry Walhman, Ron (Sharon), Susan, and Sandra (Doug). Visitation will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fisherville on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. A Christian burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Hyde and Mott Funeral Home in Hagersville.
