Lorne Frederick Jr. MATTICE

Lorne Frederick Mattice Jr., aged 86, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1940, Fred dedicated his life to hard work and family. He married his beloved wife, Sharon, on September 9, 1961, and together they created a loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Fred is survived by his children, Suzanne Vanderbolt (Ritchie Swing), Freddie and Lisa Mattice, and Shannon and Rick Veri. He was a proud grandfather to Steven and Tanya Vanderbolt, Sarah and Andrew Burgess, Harley and Tiffany Mattice, and many others. Fred enjoyed a successful career as a farmer and co-founded L. Frederick Mattice Farms and Trucking Inc. in 1989, a family legacy that continues today. He and Sharon cherished their time with friends and family, making lasting memories at their cottage and on Sanibel Island, Florida.
