Rita KWIRANT

Rita Kwirant passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolf Kwirant. Rita is survived by her loving children, Sylvia Decker and her husband Allan of Kitchener, and Christine Morrison and her husband Joe of Guelph. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Scott and his wife Marie Soleil, Michelle and her husband Barry, Tyler and his wife Madeline, and Justin and his wife Cindy, as well as her great-grandchildren, Léo, Éli, Charlotte, and Millie Kate. Rita is also survived by her dear sister, Traute Schacham and her husband Pete, sisters-in-law, Herta Kwirant and Lucie Pyper, and brother-in-law, Eduard Kwirant. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hospice Wellington for their kind and compassionate care of Rita. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Hospice Wellington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, where private cremation services have taken place.
