Restituta Rosa Di Pede

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Restituta Rosa Di Pede in Guelph, Ontario. Born on August 30, 1930, she departed this life on October 6, 2026, at the age of 96. Restituta was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carlo Di Pede, as well as her siblings, Attilio Petricca, Yolanda Mora, and Vincenza Tersigni, and her mother, Maria Luigia. She is survived by her children, Joe Di Pede (Florie), Mary Di Pede-Iafrate, and Claudio Di Pede (Liz Amarelo), along with her grandchildren, Andrew (Natasha), Adam (Stephanie), Olivia (Max), Daniel (Vanessa), Marcus (Mike), Eros (Maya), Ethan, and Bis-Nonna. Her great-grandchildren include Leonardo, Juliet, Chiara, Vincenzo, Cora, Nicolas, and Luca. Restituta is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Gina Di Pede and Maria Di Pede, and her father, Antonio Petricca, in Italy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on October 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel. A funeral Mass was celebrated on October 13, 2026, at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Holy Rosary Church.
