PETER WECHSELMANN

Peter Wechselmann passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife Leslie by his side, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Hospice Wellington. He was the devoted husband of Leslie Wechselmann, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Peter was a respected lawyer who practiced law with the Ontario government for 48 years, most recently serving as a Solicitor with the Ministry of Agriculture in Guelph. He was a long-standing resident of Guelph, where he lived for 29 years and remained deeply connected to the community. Peter was actively involved as a volunteer with the Ontario Kidney Transplant Ambassador Program. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home. Private cremation services have taken place. Donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Transplant Ambassador Program or Hospice Wellington, and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
