Peter HETTINGA

Peter Hettinga passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife, Nicki Hettinga, with whom he shared his life for 47 years; his daughter, Candace Hettinga (Greg Yerashotis); his son, Andrew Hettinga; his granddaughter, Lina Yerashotis; his brothers, John Hettinga (Hanne Hettinga), Jack Hettinga (Sylvia Peternel), and Paul Hettinga; his mother-in-law, Lina Ceroli; his brother-in-law, Carlo Ceroli (Camilla Ceroli); his nephews, William Ceroli (Jewl'yhana Ceroli), Samuel Ceroli (Keara Ceroli), Eric Hettinga, Christian Hettinga, and Rients Hettinga; and his great nieces, Rose Ceroli and Aurora Ceroli. He was predeceased by his parents, Anneke and Rients Hettinga, and his father-in-law, Umberto Ceroli. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, ON. A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
